- Trying to connect to Native American teens? Beginning June 12, a new exhibition at the National Museum of the American Indian will open, focusing on "Skateboard Culture in Native America." Skateboarding is described as "one of the most popular sports" on Indian reservations.
- A new report from the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University documents the way in which funding for addressing substance abuse is dramatically skewed toward treatment, although prevention is much cheaper.
- The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) just released new juvenile arrest statistics for 2007.
