The next National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) webinar will be held Tuesday, October 18, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
Titled "But I Got A Script Fot It," the hour-long presentation will focus on prescription and ove-the-counter drug abuse.

The impact of prescription drug abuse and addiction on our criminal justice system has traditionally been overlooked. National studies and published reports have indicated that the abuse of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs is a growing concern. Prescription drug abuse and addiction must be considered in the design of Drug Courts, including target population and service delivery.

Vanessa Price has been employed as a police officer with the City of Oklahoma City since 1990. She currently holds the rank of inspector and is assigned to Operations Administration as the Interim Executive Director for Weed and Seed Programs. Mrs. Price has an Associate’s Degree from Oklahoma State University in Applied Police Science and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Criminal Justice and a pending Master’s Degree from Oklahoma State University in Human Relations.
