Anyone working on a Reclaiming Futures initiative -- or for that matter, anyone working to improve alcohol and drug treatment services, even if not for teens in the juvenile justice system -- will benefit from a new provider toolkit from the Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment (NIATx).
Packed with useful information to guide and manage a change process, the toolkit includes a schematic of the NIATx Way to provide structure, and over 60 promising practices that can be customized and tested in an agency in your community.
Even better, most of them have been tested by at least two providers who had "supporting data to show that they resulted in improvement."
You'll find the toolkit dovetails nicely with:
- The Change Book from the ATTC Network, and
- TAP 31 from SAMHSA, Implementing Change in Substance Abuse Treatment Programs.
