Reclaiming Futures Model: The Solution: Beyond Treatment
The Solution: Beyond Treatment
When youth finish treatment and get off probation, they leave behind a team of adults paid to help them succeed. Before that happens, youth need to be connected to caring adults and positive activities, such as sports, the arts, employment, local churches, or volunteering.
Reclaiming Futures Model: The Solution: Better Treatment
The Solution: Better Treatment
Teens need the best, most effective care we can give them. But we also need to make sure that they get served quickly and that we don't drop the ball if teens or their families fail to engage in care.
Reclaiming Futures Model: The Solution: More Treatment
The Solution: More Treatment
Reclaiming Futures helps juvenile justice systems do a better of identifying youth who need treatment, assessing their individual needs, and connecting them to care.

Monitoring Youth Progress to Improve Services
Reclaiming Futures is designed to improve services for individual youth. But we also want to change the way the juvenile justice system — and adolescent treatment providers — do business. Our model makes it possible.
Reclaiming Futures: A Team Approach
A Team of Leaders
Youth struggling with alcohol and drug issues who are in trouble with the law have complex needs. They need adults to work together efficiently and in concert to help them. That’s why we make it a priority to build local leadership across systems.
The Reclaiming Futures Solution
The Solution
Reclaiming Futures is not a program. Instead, it seeks to change systems and communities so that teens get the help they need and communities are safer.
